Don't Miss!!
Puerto Rico is a place I’ve been to numerous times. We spent a week there on a family
vacation, before cruising, and multiple times on overnights for work. This is a place that you
can visit without a passport so it’s easy to go. There is great beaches, good food, lots to do,
and you feel like you are experiencing something different than the norm.
Old San Juan takes you back in time with the cobblestone streets, architecture, and history.
They are proud to display their flag outside of all of the colorful buildings. It can get very busy
when cruise ships are in port, but otherwise ,it’s very charming and quaint in Old Town.
I love to just walk around and see all that there is to see. It’s very beautiful.
There are two forts, that are the main ones, near Old Town. Castillo San Felipe del Morro and
Fuerte San Cristobal. Definitely take the time to tour them on your own for a bit of history.
