Bali is such a beautiful place to visit. There is so many things to see and do that you cannot

possibly see it all in one trip. There are so many places to explore! It definitely will have you

yearning to come back. The people are so kind and loving and their culture is so different from ours.

This was a Mother/Daughter trip over her Spring Break. She convinced me it wasn’t too far to

go, as I initially thought. The effort to get there from the middle of the US was, actually, not

bad at all! When we were on a family cruise, we became friends with a crewmember, named

Putra, from Bali. We kept in touch and by the time we went, he was back at home, retired from

cruise ship life. He was a great resource for us. He became one of our drivers when we were

there. I will link his information, as well, as two others if you are planning on visiting. They will

take care of you and you will be in good hands. If you are more adventurous you can rent a

cycle. Traffice is so crazy there so be mindful of that. We booked our stay in Airbnb’s and

hotels. We chose to spend our 11 days in Ubud, Nusa Penida, and Seminyak. We started in

Ubud and ended in Seminyak.

We were pretty much on the go the entire time, but we did partake in as many spas and

massages as we could fit in. I cannot even tell you how good and inexpensive it is to pamper

yourself there. Their spas are over the top!

Ok, let’s get started on our trip to beautiful Bali!
