The island of Kauai definitely lives up to its name as the Island of Paradise.  It is very lush and so beautiful.  We spent eleven days on the island and spent our time between the North Shore and the South.  They are completely different and both are worthy of splitting your time.  We did most of what Kauai has to offer and it had us wanting to get our next visit on the books.

There is only one road on the island, North and South, that is why the travel time is 1.5-2.0 hours to get from one side to the other.

Go Blue Adventures

There were so many amazing moments but I think we saved the best for last. We took a Napali coast tour through the caves with GoBlueAdventures. The only way to see this part of the island is by boat and helicopter. I was in awe of this majestic coastline. On this tour, you will most likely see hundreds of dolphins swimming around your boat, many beautiful waterfalls, and some really cool terrain. However, the best part is traveling through the sea caves! We had perfect weather and conditions and covered approximately 18 miles. Then we headed to what we came for….the caves! We also learned some history of Kauai that was really interesting. We covered approximately 18 miles total. And need to mention, It’s a rough ride, even in perfect conditions. However, even in perfect conditions, it was rough!! If you have any kind of back problems, do not go on this tour. Go Blue Adventures does a great job at making sure you have the best experience.
